Three come to mind: Joseph Horner, 3rd in Philadelphia with his brother,
Anton; Ross Taylor, principal in Cleveland before Bloom and then
co-principal in SF; Robert Wirth, 4th in the MN Orchestra, Ne: Minneapolis
Symphony.

I can also think of 2 pro violists who did it, one oboist, one organist,
one trumpeter and one pianist.

On the other hand, I can think of no conductors who committed suicide even
though I worked for many who committed "musicide."

I've heard French Horn players also top the suicide list in orchestras as
well.
