For Immediate Release On November 4, 2010, the Illinois State University School of Music will host Guest Artist Thomas Bacon. Professor Bacon, former principal horn of the Detroit Symphony, the Berlin Radio Symphony, and the Houston Symphony, will present an 11 am - 1 pm Clinic for all Musicians: Practice Smarter, Not Harder and a 7 pm Horn/Brass Master Class with performances by Thomas Bacon. Both events are in the Illinois State Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall, free admission and open to the public.
