A legend passes.  I do remember when the Buffalo Phil would play in NY at 
Carnegie and would need an extra tuba, Harvey would be hired.
 
He also had a great sense of humor on the stage.  I remember once one of our 
bass players was a little late and went scampering across the stage.  As he 
passed Harvey, Harvey gave a big "TOOT" at which our player must have jumped 
ten 
feet in the air.  

 
He will be missed.
