Hi folks - I wanted to put this out there - I am looking for a copy of the
recording titled "Best of the Brass" volume 2 or something quite close to this.
It is a Vox/Moss Music Group compilation and contains performances by Eastman
Brass, Canadian Brass, Andre Birnbaum Ensemble [which is the one that I am most
interested in].
Titles include:
Canzon Quarta [Gabrieli]
Symphony for the Kings' Supper [DeLalande]
Brass Quintet [Arnold] and several others.
I had it on cassette but it has disappeared. I am most particularly interested
in the Delalande pieces - I have several of the other titles on their original
recordings. If anyone has one they can contact me offlist with the specifics.
