I've been watching events in Queensland and it is clear that the creeks ". .
. do run dry or ten feet high. . . "on the Northern plain.

French Horns County style sounds like something Banjo Paterson might have
written.

Subject: [Hornlist] HORN SECTION SOLO PIECE

Hello Clara and horn list friends. There was a piece called 'French horns
Country Style' performed by my old horn section from my days in the
Australian
Army. I'm sorry it was so long ago that I cannot recall the composer. Maybe
someone on the list can complete the information? Just to let you all know
that
the devastation here in Ipswich Queensland Australia is now, only really
being
realized. The death count is currently 13 with 74 pople unaccounted for. My
local shopping centre, railway station, fast food outlets and neighbouring
houses all under water. Shipping containers, boats of all descriptions,
houses
etc all drifting in the currents on the motorway and streets.

Keep safe.

Regards to all,

Brian.
