Yes, but a very tame FLIPPER. (he has got the same technical difficulties verse the end as most other players, if they play the Call in one shot, even he tamed himself not to make much accelerando & no significant crescendo. But nevertheless quite clean playing.
All listeners should imagine the real situation on stage: Curtains everywhere, noises, hectic people moving, no acoustics, sometimes hard reflex, sometimes nothing at all & very dead, ass grilled by the 5.000 to 10.000 Watt spotlights, at least 5 min. not playing a single note before the solo, horn grilled also, must be tuned a bit higher because of the distance to the orchestra, etc. -------------- ################################################## Am 28.01.2011 um 04:36 schrieb [email protected]: > Hans wrote, > > "Dear Valerie, > > he plays the call quite nice, but this call will not awake the dragon > Fafner." > > > > Hans, > > Maybe he woke FLIPPER up instead !! > > Paul > > > > _______________________________________________ > post: [email protected] > unsubscribe or set options at > https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/hpizka%40me.com _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
