Émile Bernard's Divertissement for Double Wind Quintet, Op. 36 is an excellent piece for that combination.
Cheers, Steve Steven Ovitsky Executive Director Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival www.santafechambermusic.com Hi Our amateur orchestra may be taking a break this spring and and our wind section are looking into the possibility of tackling something for wind ensemble. Octets 0222, 2000 (0 Flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 horns 0 trumpets, 0 trombones, 0 tubas) are easy to find but we'd really like something that uses the whole group. (in our case 2 each of flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, horns and trumpets.) Suggestions please? Thanks, Graham _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
