Yep and quoting from the old Ray Stevens hit of the early sixties,

With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes and bone through her nose, ho
ho!

I heard that one for the first time in a very long time at a car show this past
summer. Seems as if it's VERY politically incorrect these days.

You may be right. There is documentary evidence of this phenomenon -   If
you remember the old verse, the lady had

"rings on her fingers and bells on her toes" - the bells would no doubt have
made ringing a distinct possibility.

Whether the bells had anything to do with  toenail fungus or not has not
been established.

Cheers,

Lawrence
