First of all I can assure you that 'my knickers' are still firmly on, so "not
in
a bunch" as inferenced. Thank you for reminding everyone that this is a self
moderating group. As such, it is the responsibility of the group as a whole, to
ensure that topics are expressed within the context of this forum (Memphis Horn
List). I appreciate your candidness in stating your position with reference to
topics. I make it clear that at no time am I acting as 'moderator' of this
group. I have been with this group for several years now and have seen the
variety of topics that have been discussed. All I am trying to do, as a member
of this group, is trying to encourage horn/music related topics back into the
forum. Having recently been affected by the recent floods in Queensland
Australia, and speaking for our neighbours in nearby New Zealand, major
disasters are life changing events. All I ask is that members show some
compassion and tact when exploring topics that dissect such life changing
events. And yes Bill, the 'delete' key is there. But you read through the
topics
as they appear in the digest version of the correspondence by which time, you
have already then read the topic. I hope this helps to clarify my position.
