I had one for almost 10 years. I loved it. It's not the right horn for everyone - but no horn is. That being said, Schmid makes a wonderful horn that is highly consistent in both quality and price. Consistently good, consistently expensive. Some people get by on Conn 8Ds, some get by on Paxmans, others Geyers and Rauchs.
