Thanks, Luke. But, quite a few high horn players are NOT balanced, having a strong upper register, but a weak, spotty low register. High horn players, most of whom have played 1st horn for years, have reported that BE has opened up and evened out their low registers, especially the awkward breaks they struggle with around A below the staff. BE develops the whole embouchure for the whole range of playing, not just the high. -- Valerie Wells The Balanced Embouchure Method http://bebabe.wordpress.com/ http://www.beforhorn.blogspot.com/ _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
