Listers: If anyone on the two horn lists ever played with the California Junior Symphony in Los Angeles under Peter Meremblum between 1936 and the 1960s, or knows of someone who has (not only hornists), please pass the word that an orchestra reunion is being planned for the summer of 2003 in Los Angeles. Horn alumni/alumnae who have performed with the orchestra (that I remember) are Norman Schweikert (he already knows about this), Arthur Maebe,William Ferguson, Barney Gilmore, Tony Thurber, Gay Ross-Clunis, Fred Wilkins, and Robert Beattie. I know there were many other LA-area hornists who cut their teeth in this orchestra over the years.
