Hi Everyone,
Yesterday in Michigan it was quite nice for January. But today is a different story. As I am writing this, I am looking out of my window and am watching these big fluffy flakes of snow. Forecasters are predicting between 1 and 2 inches of snow. Not too bad, it sure beats 6 to 12 inches, but still enough to have to drag out the snow blower, can't have my students fall down and mess up their horns.
Since I am weary of cold weather and snow, days like this make me wish that I was on Oahu (sigh).(Visions of palm trees, bikinis and warm breezes) Just to be down by Waikiki beach with a good book...(to be politically correct) <G>. If there ever is an opening for a hornist for the Honolulu Symphony, that is one that I will definitely will audition.
