Ah yes, the lessons we can learn from Europe.  Far too numerous to mention.
One does remain in my mind.  That great European Leader, Charles DeGaulle
decided he had enough of American NATO troops stationed in his country and
ordered them all out.  The US Secretray of State at the time Dean Rusk send
a simple message to the Leader of France, "do you mean all Americans
including those in the cemeteries from WWI and WWII."

I mean don't we have the UN to keep things on the right track.  After the UN
did have inspectors in Iraq until 1998 when Sadam Hussein told them to leave
and right away the UN Security council, striking like a feroucious rabbit,
did err, did, errr, did nothing.  Which leaves us with a two bit dictator
willing to kill any and all to support his meglomania.  Please do tell me
more about the faults of the United States.
