Greetings from Norman, OK: The University of Oklahoma Horn Studio wishes to announce a Fall Horn Workshop that will be hosted at the OU School of Music on Oct. 24-26.
Our Featured Guest Artist will be Randy Gardner, Prof. of Horn at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. Randy has also had an illustrious career with the Philadelphia Orchestra for over 20 years. The workshop will conclude with Mr. Gardner's recital on Sunday afternoon. Other fine contributing artists will also be present giving recitals and presentations. A thrust of this workshop will be orchestral playing and audition strategies. To that end, there will be mock auditions for low and high horn with finalists appearing in Master Classes.
