Hello Hoss,

I see than Hans has identified the horn as one from
Wiener Horn Manufaktur. The wrap is unique and,
to the best of my knowlwdge, used only by Wiener
and Jungwirth. The design is almost identical
to a late 19th century Uhlmann design except the Uhlmann
horns normally had a straight third valve tuning slide.

The pic appears to be a modern professional photo and I would
assume the horn is in like new condition unless it is being
misrepresented. The description is also a puzzle. It is not
the description I would expect from
a horn player/collector for the audience that would be interested
this horn. The folks who are interested in this horn probably
don't need to know that "It works by increasing the slide length
when the valve is pressed".

I've bid on the horn but will procede with caution. Does anyone
know who the seller is?

Regards, Jerry Old in Kansas City
