There's been some excellent advice recently offered about preparing and
pacing for a concert in order to be ready and lessen anxiety.
Here are some ideas I rarely see discussed:
People pay big money to go to theme parks and go on all those rides
designed to scare the crap out of them. Other people voluntarily go to war and
actually risk getting killed or worse. Other people get into "extreme" sports.
Danger seems to be a human desire. Have you ever asked yourself after a
concert that had you scared half to death why you would go back and do it again?
Easy, because you enjoyed having the crap scared out of you and "surviving".
It fulfills a basic human need. You can even get paid for it!
So don't be complaining about your "performance anxiety". Bring it on!
