Last time I checked, no one in the Columbus Symphony plays a 10D anymore.  I
remember vaguely someone mentioning at a horn workshop in Columbus, perhaps
Scott Bacon, that their section played on 10Ds. When the quartet came out,
someone asked what they were playing, and there wasn't a single 10d in the lot.
 

I heard also there was a number of modifications made on each horn in section. 
Someone had a burr in their leadpipe, I am not mistaken.
