Let me be the first one to bite...Just what did you have done to your Chambers so that it is now worth 3 grand? A very good friend of mine sold his Contempora that was picked by David Krehbiel when he was Principal in Detroit over 30 years ago to one of my students. We set her up with a Schilke 30 and away she went off to great tone land...Here's the hook, she did not pay 3 grand for it, so as Ricky said Lucy, you got some splainin to do...if ya wanna convince me...
I agree with you, a Reynolds will keep up and blow an 8d away, his sure did after he tweaked it! It, along with my Alex 103 and his Alex 102, they are about the most free blowing horns I've ever played on...
