Actually that was Ken P. who discovered the ball bat cryogenics site.

But who's counting?

I even found a site that does cryogenics on softball bats -
and it claims you can hit the ball farther!

**************
The archives of the Chicago Symphony reveal that Slammin'
Phil Farkas was suspended for a week during the
1955 season when he was caught using using cork-filled
rotors on his horn. He claimed that he was merely storing
spare corks for his rotor stops, but his appeal was denied
by the High Commissioner of Symphony Orchestras, Bud
Koussevitzky. His suspension so demoralized the orchestra,
which had played exceptionally well during the first part of the
season, that it rapidly fell out of contention in the National
Orchestra League and, for the 47th year in a row, failed to
appear in the World Series.

Gotta go,
Cabbage
