I was brought up with mostly classical music and almost all of my playing over the
last 12 years has been orchestral in one way or another, but yesterday I saw an ad in
the paper asking for a French Horn player for a rock band. On a whim I rang up and I'm
going to have a blow with them later on today as an audition. Even though orchestral
music has always been my first love I'm quite excited about this, I think it will be
fun to try something a little different!

I just wanted to tell someone, so thanks for letting me!
