William has a great deal of free time, so he disassembles his Schmid: The valves on these horns are incredible. You can definately feel a difference in them once you remove them.
******** I noticed that on my Schmid too. Once I had the rotors out, the valve levers worked even faster. Some pieces (like the Gliere Horn Concerto, you know which bit I mean) were as easy to finger as Kopprasch 1. Of course, the piece didn't sound too hot until I put the rotors back in, but hey, the difference was impressive, really impressive. gotta go, cabbage _______________________________________________ post: [EMAIL PROTECTED] set your options at http://music.memphis.edu/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
