No no, the monotony is glorious!  There are those who would say - with as
much basis - that 104 Haydn symphonies sound the same, or that 4 Mozart
horn concertos sound the same.  All true, and all not true.  Vivaldi just
kept it up longer.  I'm as unmoved as any of us about his silly horn
concertos, but a lot of his other stuff is great.
