CORRECTED VERSION Get good epoxy glue- preferablly one designed for metal to metal, apply it as directed to a clean coin and lever, have a good amount of the metal of your addition supported by the valve lever (generally at least 3/4 of the diameter of the coin), and you should be ok. If one does ever break loose, you still have the original valve lever to use. It would not be nearly as problamatic as a broken string -or a conductor who gives you an inncorrect cue :) .
