Continuing my previous mute question, I have found the Kowalchuk mutes to be some of the best on the market and I am wondering if they hold up well in the low register. the specific passage I am concerned about is the muted part in 'Villanelle' by Paul Dukas, which goes to a low Eb while muted, so I would like to know the quality of the note as well as the quality of the low range in general.
