Hi Dabon, I've seen worse horns but, all in all, you're still better off with a used Conn, Yamaha or Holton. I'm sure you've seen the opinions of various models of all of these. Stay away from the 500 series Yamaha. The Jupiters I have worked on have been mediocer workmanship and response throughout the registers isn't the best either. Intonation on some have been really out of the ballpark. This goes for all of the Jupiter instruments I've seen (from flutes to baris and tubas). In all fairness, about 40% have been fine on a beginner level, 40+% fixable and the rest could use a bit of wiring to become a lovely lamp. hope this helps, Cyn
