That's another nice thing about the Paxman Loop; it's only snug when you're hand is in playing position.
It's hard for me to explain this but, when I first put the Loop on my horn, I thought:
"That can't work. It's too loose to be of any use."
But when you put your hand through the Loop and grab the horn normally, everything comes into place.
Let go of the horn; it's loose. Grab it; it's snug. Wonderful.
