Good for you  Eldon!  You've stepped up and encouraged your orchestra to add the 
possibility of inviting the winner to appear as soloist.  In all likelihood, this will 
reduce the opportunities you personally have to play concertos with your own 
orchestra.  I commend you for serving the goals and needs of the competition above 
your own personal interests!
