Sitting here listing to Richard Burdick and his good and dear friend Richard Burdick playing 20 Duos by Dauprat. Dauprat certainly had high expectations of what the natural horn could do. I know I could never play this stuff on a nice normal double horn, the counting is way too complex for me. Often the second part sounds like the worst exercise your sadistic teacher could find for you... about a 1000 octave jumps in a row, QUICKLY.
I think Mr. Burdick has the disk for sale on his web site and it also shows up from time on Ebay, what a good natured hoot.
