  Thanks to Jay Sewell for the great pics of his New Symphony model Kruspe.  
  The horn I saw was listed in that 1930 catalog:

   as the "Modell Horner, Philadelphia"  The one pictured is different from 
  some of the other Horner models that didn't have the separate Bb slide.  Your 
New 
  Symphony is listed as the "Modell Walter Kruspe" in the catalog.  Walter was 
  a great grandson of Carl Kruspe.  (C Kruspe, well known woodwind instrument 
  makers) and was granted a patent for a double horn in 1928 (#1027194) so that 
  would jibe with Richard Vest's information that his was bought new in 1928.
