"Disciplining the Horn: Taming an Unruly Instrument" Workshop will be held
on
January 7-8, 2006 on the beachside campus of the University of California at
Santa Barbara. The Workshop will include master classes, concerts, lectures,
mock auditions, and ensembles. Featured artists include James Thatcher,
Michael
Hatfield, Soren Hermansson, Steve Durnin, Larry Lowe, and John Ericsson.
Featured also will be "Oceans 5", a new ensemble of American and South
African
