Thankyou for your very fast reply! As soon as you mentioned about the Al Cass I 
realised that this was the first time in ages that I'd bought and used it (and 
then only because the shop had run out of my usual Yamaha oil) and I also 
remember someone making the exact same comment once before (I have a terrible 
sieve-like memory) ...Now what was I saying again...?

I don't play a Yamaha (any more) but an old Alex.-clone. I buy Yamaha because 
it is the only oil available locally but do you think it would be wiser to 
order in something else? I certainly won't use the Al Cass anymore (and will be 
interested to see if that makes a difference!)
