Hello Everyone,

I'm going to be giving two lectures on the Horn on September 26th
and 27th, one at the University of South Dakota and one at the
University of Iowa. Here are the dates, times, and locations.

University of South Dakota
11:00am on Tuesday, September 26th, 2006
Colton Recital Hall of the College of Fine Arts
414 East Clark Street
Vermillion, SD 57069

University of Iowa
12:30pm on Wednesday, September 27th, 2006
School of Music
Voxman Music Building
Choral Room (Rm. 1077)

If anyone wants to come listen, you are more than welcome. I'll be
talking mostly about some things that are generally not taught about
the Horn in school, and I'll also touch on the inner workings of the
Horn and brass instruments in general, as well as a bit about care and
maintenance. Each lecture will be about 50 minutes long with some Q&A
time at the end and afterwards. There's also the added opportunity to
visit the National Music Museum at USD. They have lots of very nice
instruments there to gawk at. Hope to see you there.
