I am truly crushed! Here I've been waiting by my computer with valve
oil to oil the valves of my Alex, and Kopprasch Book on my music
stand turned to Kopprasch #1 awaiting the annual visit from St. Dennis.
Have we all been bad hornists this year? Too many clams? Not enough
practicing Kopprasch #1? Too much bickering about Kruspe or Geyer
wraps or bashing the valves on Holton horns? I had planned on reading
it to my colleagues at my Xmas eve gig in a couple of hours, to get
us in a festive mood,
Alas, I guess we've been bad hornists this year, so we'll have to
work harder next year.
