Marc, I would add that experience tells you the following;
How much to lay back (if any)  on a multi service day
How to gage earlier that you will have a problem so you can change your
approach at the first of those services
How to tell before the concert that you have an issue
How to fix that issue at 7:30 before your 8pm concert sufficiently to have a
great exciting performance with the absolute minimum number of "accidents"
