I have used Lulu to purchase several books from a narrow non-musical field
of interest that I have, and have found the result be perfectly
satisfactory. I was suspicious at first, but have no complaints. I have no
idea, however, how it looks from the authors side of the matter. You might
look into it , Hans. I would certainly purchase a copy.

Have you looked at services such as www.lulu.com. I haven't used it
myself, but if I understand correctly you just have to upload the text
file and customers can order copies to be printed on-demand. The price-per
unit seems reasonable.

I tried that, but the outcome was a preorder of just 32 copies. If there
would be three hundred, it would look different.
