This comment inspired me to go to Google Books to look for it. Check
this out: Google has digitized the book (I searched for the author,
Morley-Pegge), and copies came up, but it is not available to download
in full pdf form or even preview or snippet views - too bad. But click
on one of the hits, and on the right side of the next screen you will
see a clickable "Find this book in a library". That will lead you to
worldcat.org, which, if you enter your location, (your zipcode), will
then list all of the libraries in their system that have the book, and
how many miles you are from them. In my case, 48169, there is a copy 16
miles from me at Concordia University, many more libraries at various
distances, and the farthest away is 11000 miles from me at the
University of Western Australia. That's the copy I want to borrow.
Such a world we live in.

Morley-Pegge was a horn player (Student of Bremond) and musical historian, published his
book "The French Horn" in 1960. It is comprehensive and well illustrated, at
least the first edition, which is in my library. For those seriously interested in the
horn, this book- plus those by Robin Gregory, Horace Fitzpatrick, Bernhard Bruchle and
Birchard Coar should be in their library. Regards.
