Hi Kate I am ready to join in. The 2011 Sendai earthquake and tsunami wiki page shows different tasks where the Hot Team was involved in such a situation recently. (url http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/2011_Sendai_earthquake_and_tsunami ) If there are more people interested in joining in for the simulation, it would be interesting to not only map, but also define other tasks and coordinate with other organisations. (ie. Humanitarian Presets, JOSM Styles, POI Map of disaster, etc.) ? It would be possible to prepare in advance such tools. The day of the simulation, mappers could then practice using these various tools, receive requests and feedbacks. Too utopian ? Pierre Béland
