In the last post about this subject I described how to publish a RSS Feed from a GDoc Spreadsheet.
After completion, we publish to the web and get a link to the published data selecting RSS as output format. Below is the link to see this RSS. https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/list/0AmOSmYHb1c9ndEtrbXdidXp0Y01LRlo4V0pIMzl4UGc/od6/public/basic Pierre Béland De : Pierre Béland Date/heure : 2012-02-03 08:53:34 A : HOT Openstreetmap Cc : robert colombo Sujet : Re: [HOT] How to set up a RSS Robert If you want to publish from your website directly, you would have to create a parser to translate to the RSS format. One simple way to have your information translated automatically to RSS would be to Publish from a Google Doc Spreadsheet. The two url links below explain how this can be done simply. http://www.mmmeeja.com/blog/web-development/google-spreadsheets-rss.html http://simile-widgets.org/wiki/How_to_make_an_exhibit_from_data_fed_directly_from_a_Google_Spreadsheet I have prepared an example working well for RSS format. But I dont succeed to export as GeoRSS. The {georss:point} column is not recognized.https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmOSmYHb1c9ndEtrbXdidXp0Y01LRlo4V0pIMzl4UGc#gid=0 regards Pierre Béland De : robert colombo Date/heure : 2012-02-02 12:48:57 A : hot Cc : Sujet : [HOT] How to set up a RSS i would like to set up a RSS but i do not understand the process i want to be providing information to others trough my website, s they can subscribe to my RSS. any experience with that? thanks!
