Has anyone any information about maps of locations of religious centers in any North African city? Any experience in creating a OSM map with this has been developed.
in any case i would like to see the possibility of engaging local community in Tunis to try to create this registry. Can this be done trough Satellite imagery (OSM has sufficient resolution??) . Can minarets be extracted automatically trough Remote sensing analysis? if a methodology is found, this can be a good idea for future developments as religious centers turn to be shelters, mass gahtering places, storage and safe heavens...
