I was wondering if the image data from the Hurricane Sandy flights and the associated damage assessments is available. I would be interested in using that data to train a machine learning model that would do damage assessment itself for future storms.
Because of the breadth of the terrain, types of buildings, etc, the model could be very effective for rapidly assessing plotting damage.
