Sev & Mike were asking about the china quake. I took a quick look and have set 
up a wiki page. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/2013_Lushan_earthquake (same 
name wikipedia's given it)


But it's not a drop-everything activation I don't think. <200 deaths. This is 
not another Haiti. 

My guess is, this is similar to the Yushu earthquake of 2010. A few small towns 
/ villages in this mountainous area would be the worst effected, where people 
have died and aid will be delivered by the chinese authorities, but the death 
toll is low, and we don't have hi-res imagery of those areas.

As I've said on the wiki page, there's some potential to improve the mapping on 
Chengdu city. But this was only mildly shaken by the quake.  Can someone 
confirm why there appear to be deleted patches of the road network there? 
(needs analysis of an old planet file I think)  I guess it was the redaction 
bot.
