Hi, I've just increased the caching on hot.openstreetmap.org
Besides much more visitors, the site is also getting targeted by spam bots now. The cache has a minimum live time of 15 minutes, so updates might not be visible to visitors of the site straight away, and visitors won't see a confirmation if they post a comment. I turn the caching to normal again, once it's calmer.
