Looking back at this year, there were many humanitarian actions we participated at. We almost forgot moving from one to the other. But there are still hundred of thousand of displaced people in DR Congo and the humanitarian organisations still need our help to plan the distribution of foods to the displaced and vulnerable populations.
For the Typhoon Haiyan, at certain points yesterday and today, up to 100 contributors were editing through the Task Manager contributing to relief of population of Phillippines. Thanks to the U.S. Department of State's Humanitarian Information Unit (HIU) who has made availblenew imagery from Digital Globe through its Imagery to the Crowd initiative. A new task has been created and you will find instructions at http://tasks.hotosm.org/job/352 If some of you want to contribute to DR Congo humanitarian efforts, this new task this would also be greatly appreciated by the humanitarians in the district of Maniema.
