an other possibility is to use my OsmContributorStats Python script.

Not that this script is not intended to cover large zones. You provide a bbox
and a range of date. It then interrogate the OSM API and return various CSV
files
- statistics by users
- statistics by changesets
The readme.md file describe the statistics produced.
