We need simple and efficient solutions for the humanitarians to contribute to OSM from the field. The new Note feature can be used but too often anonymous Notes are added. In this case it is then impossible to contact the contributor to ask more question.
@osmthis twitters can come to the rescue. OSM user sashazykov proposes a simple solution : Send a geolocated twitter with the hashtag @osmthis. It is even possible to add a picture, completing the description of a feature. See http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/sashazykov/diary/21824 where he presents his project and some examples. For HOT, it would be possible to fork this OpenSource solution from Github and use a specific hashtag for an Activation or partnering with humanitarians. Pierre
