Hi Latte,
looking at https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/6.323615/-10.756164 the Bing
imagery is not very clear but looking both at Bing and Mapbox imagery I see an
area of about 50meters x 50meters maxi. This seems too small to suggest that
this is a mine or a quarry. I would ignore this.

It looks a bit like mine, but I think they're abandoned. Certainly since it's
so close to Monrovia, it must have been found pretty early, and is probably
completely empty already.
It's certainly a lot smaller than other mines I've found (further inland in S-L
f.e.).
