Hello Mikel, I replied to you only on purpose.
So the idea to list available extraction tools (including available documentations and source code) and publish it in one page so: 1. Non-technical person can extract OSM data based on their needs with available tools 2. The tech people can look at the available list so they can figure out the right tools (and hopefully ) and also figuring out workflow based on their needs (and hopefully can share it to us). I'm not too techie enough if I figure out by myself (I don't know about other people in Training WG) but at least by having this list, we hope it can help many people. Hope it can explain Thanks *Kind Regards,Emir Hartato* On Thu, Oct 30, 2014 at 2:16 AM, Mikel Maron <[email protected]> wrote: > That's great Emir and Training Working Group! > > Do you think a course covering these extraction tools, and exploring > better workflows to keep data catalogs up to date, is close at hand? > There was a lot of interest in this when discussed among the ebola tech > response folks. > > -Mikel > > * Mikel Maron * +14152835207 @mikel s:mikelmaron > > > On Tuesday, October 28, 2014 5:23 AM, Emir Hartato < > [email protected]> wrote: > > > > Hello everyone, > > Based on Training Working Group Meeting on Monday Oct 27th: > https://hackpad.com/Training-WG-Meeting-October-27-2014-xsegHTPoTyo , we > are going to update tutorial for OSM data extraction.
