Thanks for that, I'll update learnOSM

Thanks to documenting this.
We will have have to synchronize ourselves and use the same link. It
has been suggested to use this link that I find more intuitive for
newcomers : https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.oftc.net/hot
I have added this link in some TM jobs since this Kiwiirc instance is
easier. It is now added also otn the Task Manager front page. I
suggest that both the Task Manager front page and the LearnOSM refer
to this instance.

Some remarks:
* New users often expect immediate answers, or just ask a question and
leave (like you would on a help site, which mails you about answers).
It's best to warn them to leave the page open as long as possible
(until they got an answer)
* After the sencentce "Alternatively, use the IRC client of your
choice", I'd mention the parameters: server is irc.oftc.net
<http://irc.oftc.net/>, channel is #hot.
* The user-friendlyness of IRC depends a lot on the client. I don't
find the osm standard IRC client very pretty, which may scare away
people. It might be worth to try some others like
https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.oftc.net/hot (though that should
probably be changed at the TM level)

Pierre,
I've added a section to LearnOSM concerning the *OSM HOT IRC
Channel #hot *link from the home page of the Tasking Manager:
http://learnosm.org/en/coordination/tasking-manager/#getting-live-help
I was very impressed at how simple it is - I've only started using
IRC in the last year, & wish I had found this version a lot
earlier, because it is so easy.
As usual, for anyone reading this message - if there's anything
wrong in what has been put into LearnOSM, make sure it gets fixed
- email, github, feedback from site - lots of options (Please
don't use the 'do nothing & then complain' button).
Regards
