There is something mysterious called precision farming or basically flying a drone over a field then increasing crop yields based on the information obtained. Essentially mapping but mapping fertilizer deficiencies etc.
It's not HOT mapping in the conventional sense but if someone could manage to open source software and create a low cost drone with sensors it could potentially generate wealth in the areas we are trying to help recover. Could one of the Universities help perhaps? The imagery could be used for OSM as well. Cheerio John
